A Vonduun Shield was a defensive based weapon imagined by Praetorite Executor, Nem Yin, and then later created by Master Shaper, Mira Yim. Essentially the device consisted of the living shell of a Vonduun crab. The shell itself was covered in a series of spiny risen protrusions that could be used for impaling and slashing enemy combatants. Like vonduun skerr kyrric, the shield was protected by an energy field that could withstand all manner of energy and projectile based weaponry. However, the shield did suffer from the same allergic reaction to bafforr tree pollen as regular crab armour did, and would swell until death when exposed to the material.
