SDR-1 (Spectral Disruptor RIfle Mark One)
Physical and technical specifications
Usage and history
The Spectral Disruptor Rifle is a rifle made for use against droids and organic beings. It works in much the same way as the DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle, but it has a rapid carbonite cooled system allowing for multiple shots in quick succession. The rifle uses the same tibanna gass that is used in the DC-19 "stealth" Carbine allowing for use in stealth operations. The Spectral Disruptor Rifle when set on single shot mode can be charged to allow for complete disintergration of the enemy. The rifle has an extended clip allowing for more shots per reload. It also has the added advantage of being able to penetrate most sheilding. The rifle can be connected to most HUD in helmets and visors, showing ammunition levels. Another thing that comes standard is a stock that is added to reduce recoil's problems, and a place where a bayonet can be attached.
Extras include a electonic scope with 10x optical zoom, and a total of 20x electronic zoom. A laser pointer can be attached which can be connected to a HUD allowing for better read outs. A bipod cn also be attached to allow for better sniping, and a reduction in recoil. A Grenade launcher can be attached to the underneath of the barrel.
Production is limited until interest is increased.
