The Makaan-class Fast Attack Destroyer is a refit of the original Makaan-class Destroyer. It was had faster sublight capabilities and a more rounded weapon system and reinforced armor, allowing it better "strike 'n' fight" and better flanking abilities in advance and in support of the main battle group.

It is identical to the original design, save for the added engines, weapon systems layout, armor, and other minor structural differences.
