The Dies Irae is the personal blade of Dorian Gray, and like everything that belongs to Dorian, it maintains a perfect harmony between functionality and aesthetic taste. The sword itself is incredibly slender and slight, in part due to its construction as a dueling sword; specifically fashioned for quickness and agility. In addition, the blade is incredibly beautiful; having been made from wintrium, the blade itself looks like water frozen in the form of a blade, while delicate strands of silver wind across the blade in careful striations. The result is a blade that looks like it is made not out of a solid substance, but a liquid of carved silver and water. This is only accentuated by the solid metallic looking hilt, further emphasizing the blades beauty. The hilt of the sword itself is made out of carved silver, and is meant to be used one handed, though technically it can be used two handed if need be. It should be noted that the wintrium extends to either side of the sword, to form the blades cross guards, equally as beautiful, though encrusted in diamonds, instead of silver.
